In 2021, Aero Mongolia upgraded its fleet by integrating the Airbus A319, significantly enhancing both capability and passenger service. The Airbus A319 is now the primary aircraft in their fleet, which has improved operational efficiency and passenger comfort.
In 2022, Aero Mongolia launched its first scheduled international flight to Tokyo, Japan. The airline has since expanded its international routes to include Hohhot and Tianjin in China, Seoul in South Korea, and Irkutsk and Novosibirsk in Russia. This expansion has allowed Aero Mongolia to cover six international destinations.
In 2023, Aero Mongolia made several significant advancements. The airline joined the IATA BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan), which allows it to sell tickets through a global network of travel agents. Additionally, Aero Mongolia integrated with the Sabre GDS (Global Distribution System), enhancing its ticket distribution capabilities. The airline also increased its capacity by doubling the frequency and scope of its international routes, supported by the addition of more Airbus A319 aircraft.
