Monnis Group organizes Friendly Basketball Match
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - Since 2009, each year Monnis Group organizes a friendly baskeball competition among its partner companies, for a chance to win a Cup. This year’s competition took place at the Buyant Ukhaa Sport Complex, on 25 October.The fact that from year to year more and more companies join this competition only illustrates how this event which supports development of sports games and the teamwork, gain in importance.
Over 200 men and female contestents from 11 companies and more than 400 fans attended this competition.
At the end of the day full of severe competition, screaming and shouting of passionate fans, the team of Erdenet factory has again proven to be a very sporty one.
Between the male teams, 1st came the Erdenet factory team, 2nd were from Altain Khuder and the 3rd place was conquered by the team from Oyu Tolgoi, while again women from Erdenet factory won the 1st place, second was the team from Leighton and the 3rd were MONNIS female team. All teams received Cups, cash awards, gold, silver and bronze medals.
We plan to organize this event every year and expand it to cover more and more companies.
